Dandelion Kind Inc

The Dandelion Kind is built on a simple idea: every animal deserves care and respect, no matter their background, species, or circumstances.  That’s why we work to expand access to care for rescue animals and pet families experiencing homelessness, who are often the hardest to reach.

Founded by a veterinarian (Dr. Anna) with nearly 15 years experience in shelter medicine and animal well-being, and her partner (Andy “Ringo”), a longtime nonprofit professional, we’ve spent years working with animals and the people who love them, especially the ones most often overlooked.

Our team is all kind-hearted volunteers donating their time and expertise to help reach this mission.

Our board consists of caring and seasoned professionals, each bringing substantial expertise in areas such as nonprofit leadership, animal welfare advocacy, or work with historically marginalized human populations.

Our Mission is too ensure vulnerable animals in Southeast Tennessee have access to the medical care, protection, and advocacy they need by removing barriers to veterinary services, supporting rescue efforts, and providing sanctuary.
