A Step Ahead Chattanooga

A Step Ahead Chattanooga's mission: We remove barriers to contraception through education, outreach, and access to free birth control. We connect people to local partner clinics (and our telehealth partner) and cover 100% of the cost for many birth control methods, like IUDs, implants, and birth control pills, plus the cost of appointment fees (co-pays) and related services, regardless of insurance status. We also helps with scheduling, transportation, and language support so cost, time, or paperwork are never the reason someone can’t get care.

Who qualifies: If you live in or attend school within our service area, you can use our services.

Where we serve (18 counties):
Southeast Tennessee: Bledsoe, Bradley, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, Meigs, McMinn, Polk, Rhea, Sequatchie
Northwest Georgia: Catoosa, Dade, Murray, Walker, Whitfield
Northeast Alabama: DeKalb, Jackson
