Girls Incorporated of Chattanooga

Girls Inc. of Chattanooga is the preeminent girls’ leadership organization equipping girls to reach their full potential today and tomorrow. For 65 years, Girls Inc. of Chattanooga has stood beside generations of girls, championing their potential, celebrating their brilliance, and creating bold opportunities for growth. What began in February 1961 as a commitment to equip girls with the tools to thrive has evolved into a powerful movement rooted in education and lasting impact. 

Since our founding, we have served over 40,000 girls across Hamilton County, Marion County, and the surrounding area. Through school-based programs, community partnerships, and immersive learning experiences, we’ve empowered girls from hundreds of neighborhoods with the skills, knowledge, and self-belief to shape their own paths.

As we honor our legacy, we look ahead with purpose and passion. From August 2025 through July 2026, we will celebrate 65 years of progress, purpose, and impact. This year-long celebration marks not only our incredible history but also our unwavering commitment to the future. Be a part of this historic milestone.
