Too many teens and young adults—especially those aging out of foster care—step into adulthood without the skills, support, or confidence they need to succeed. RiseUP Cooperative, a Chattanooga-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is changing that story.

Through our life and leadership workshops—including our signature event, the Girls Leadership Summit, in partnership with TCCY—we help young people gain the practical tools they need to thrive. From financial literacy and communication to job readiness and healthy decision-making, RiseUP equips participants to step confidently into their futures and become leaders in their communities.

In 2025, we’re expanding our reach with FireFly: Illuminate Your Voice—a new initiative designed to help individuals, from young adults to professionals, discover their voice and lead with confidence. Through FireFly, we’ll train and inspire others to carry forward the mission of empowerment across our region.
