OUR WORK:

211 Helpline: Our 211 Helpline connects callers to community resources for needs like food, utilities, and other assistance, with specialists available weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Nonprofit Support: We invest millions of dollars in dozens of local nonprofits through strategic funds that meet basic needs, drive long-term impact, and support innovation, while also strengthening the sector through programming and resource sharing. Learn more here.

United for Working Families: We aim to make changes for local families where they spend their time every day—at work. Our United for Working Families initiative unites government, business, and nonprofit partners to advocate for ALICE households and drive workplace changes that help local families keep up with rising living costs. Volunteerism: We create meaningful, accessible volunteer experiences—from Youth United and our young professionals group to business–nonprofit collaborations and ongoing opportunities on ihelpchattanooga.org—to help everyone get involved and connected in our community.
