✈️ Take Flight: Opening the World for Youth Who’ve Never Left Home

For many of the teens we serve, leaving their neighborhood—let alone getting on a plane—is something they’ve only seen on TV. Corner Evolution’s Take Flight program changes that story. We give young people from underserved communities the chance to experience life beyond their zip code through college tours, youth conferences, and cultural trips that expand their minds and their sense of what’s possible.

In partnership with families, schools, and community organizations, Take Flight provides students ages 13–24 with fully guided travel experiences that are both educational and life-changing. Each trip is designed to help youth see, feel, and dream bigger—to walk college campuses, meet professionals who look like them, visit landmarks of history and innovation, and gain the confidence to believe they belong anywhere.

Most of our participants have never flown on a plane or stayed in a hotel before. For them, the first boarding pass is more than a ticket—it’s an invitation to transformation. In 2023, 2024 and 2025 Take Flight brought teens to San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, California, for the Impact Conference, where they engaged with national youth leaders, toured universities, and explored new cultures. The smiles, reflections, and goals that followed proved that exposure truly sparks ambition.
